Our Own Whisky Has Arrived!
One of our own resident Scotch obsessives, Phil Duffy (then at Spitalfields, now running Foxlow Balham), was so taken with a particular cask he tried at the Craggenmore distillery that he insisted they bottle it up just for us. Distilled on the edge of the river Spey, it’s a 16 year old single cask single malt. Rich and full with biscuit and sweet spice and a lingering finish. We’ve named it Clerk of the Works after our namesake Nicholas Hawksmoor, and our favourite illustrator, Ashlea O’Neill, has decorated the labels accordingly.
There are only 223 bottles in existence, most of which we’ll be using on our bars, but we are able to offer up some bottles which are available to purchase at Knightsbridge and Guildhall for £80.
