Three achievements we’re particularly proud of are our three star Sunday Times Best Companies rankings for six consecutive years (and named the best restaurant company to work for in 2016), our three-star Sustainable Restaurant Association award (think Michelin stars – 1 star = great, 2 stars = exceptional, 3 stars = mind-blowing). And having raised/donated almost £700,000 for Action Against Hunger.
In an industry where short-term employment is depressingly commonplace, we try as hard as possible to create jobs that people enjoy and be a company where they can settle down and build a career. It seems to be working – people tend to stay with us for a really long time. We’re sure the decent money helps, but we think there’s a lot more to creating great jobs than just paying well.
