The Cooks’ Room at Hawksmoor Borough is a unique private dining room with its own open kitchen, offering the most impressive feasting in the capital. Charged with imagining what the ultimate Hawksmoor meal would look like, our Executive Chef Team have created a unique Beef Feasting menu which is only available in The Cooks’ Room where the chefs will be cooking in front of you as you dine and will talk about dishes as they are served. In addition, if you and your guests would prefer the room to yourself and want to enjoy the ultimate menu of classic Hawksmoor dishes, we have three sharing menus also available.
Cocktail receptions are available on arrival, and our team can also suggest wine pairings that are tailored to your choice of menu. The Cooks’ Room can be laid out for communal dining with one long table or in a mini restaurant style with 16 seats. The open-plan kitchen has cookbooks lining the shelves and a wide copper counter top, which has 4 further seats for those who wish to be even closer to the action.
As well as providing the best that Hawksmoor has to offer, The Cooks’ Room also serves as a creative hub for our Executive Chef Team, who use the space for menu development and plays host to our monthly guest chef collaborations with some of the country’s best chefs. So far, Fergus Henderson, Nieves Barragán Mohacho, Elizabeth Haigh (neé Allen) and Nathan Green have taken over the stoves with Nathan Outlaw, Stuart Andrew, Robin Gill and Mitch Tonks to follow.
All proceeds from the 2017 series of Guest Chef Dinners will go to Action Against Hunger’s #UniteAgainstFamine appeal. Please see event dates and links to book tickets.
