Wood Wharf
Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. The restaurant boosts a beautiful private dining room; seating up to twenty people (minimum required is 12 people).
The room is named after the local legend Queenie Watts; back in the early sixties rowdy dockers, gangsters (the Krays and more), celebrities and thrill-seeking high society flocked to Queenie – singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady.
The private dining room is perfect for lunches, intimate dinners, wine tastings, engagement parties or other form of special occasions that requires a personal touch.

The Lowback
Gently rising and falling with the tide, the restaurant at dock-level is joined by waterside bar, The Lowback.
The Lowback bar is Hawksmoor’s most ambitious bar; with a nine-metre-long bar, dark green marble floor, polished timber ceiling and velvet booths, the water-level bar will be the ideal spot for a glamorous night out in a great bar that doesn’t take itself too seriously. With a capacity of up to 230 guests standing, the bar can play host to a variety of larger and more informal shindigs – from company socials, winter and summer parties, birthdays festivities – you can either hire a semi-private area or go all out and hire the whole bar and summer terrace for sun-drenched celebrations.

Waterview
The Waterview area at the aft of The Lowback can accommodate between 60-80 people for standing receptions. The semi-private space has banquette and bar stool seating and offers impressive views across the docklands waterways that meander around The Lowback.
Aft & Starboard
With views out to the terrace and the water beyond, the Aft & Starboard area is ideal for standing drinks and canape reception for 20-30 people.
Terrace
Sitting on the water, The Lowback’s outdoor terrace has capacity for up to 80 people for a standing reception. In the summer, the deck is a suntrap late into the evening. Perfect for summer social and sun-drenched celebrations.
Exclusive hire
For events of up to 230 people, The Lowback can be hired out on an exclusive hire basis for a standing party. The venue can host live bands or DJs and our designated event manager will assist you with your event from day one until the end.
