Guest Chef Series: Ben Tish
Every month we host some of the UK’s best chefs in the Cooks’ Room, our open-kitchen private dining room at Hawksmoor Borough. A limited 16 tickets are available for each event, with the chef (and ours) cooking a menu created exclusively for the evening right in front of you, usually chatting away with guests over a glass of something nice. This year chefs will include Nathan Outlaw, Tom Kerridge, Shaun Searly, James Knappett and more – multi-Michelin marvels doing a very Hawksmoory evening.
On Friday 28th February we’ve got a good friend of ours, Ben Tish, cooking. Last year Ben opened one of the hottest places in London, Norma, an awesome restaurant inspired by the food and culture of Sicily, in addition to running the Game Bird at the Stafford.
Ben will be cooking a 5-course Sicilian take on a Hawksmoor dinner: Spaghetti fritters with truffle-parmesan cream – Red prawns orange and rosemary – Wild bass crudo, pickled carrots, crème fraiche and sumac – Pasta al forno – Charcoal grilled bone-in ribeye, wild thyme and almond aioli – Brioche sandwich, bronte pistachio ice cream, chocolate sauce.
Tickets are £150pp for five-courses, cocktails on arrival, matched wines with each course and service.
