We (and when we say we we mostly mean our Uber-Chef Matt Brown, a former Head Chef of two restaurants with three Michelin stars) have been hard at work testing, tasting, tweaking and re-tasting a selection of Hawksmoor classics so they’re easy to recreate at home.

Inside is everything you need for an easy-to-prepare steak night. Two British fillet steaks from the same grass-fed traditional-breed cattle we use in the restaurants, along with Bone marrow gravy, Creamed spinach,  our legendary Sticky toffee pudding and, most exciting of all, Matt Brown’s Ultimate oven chips (which will arrive nestling amongst nuggets of beef dripping ready for a blast in the oven).

Hawksmoor drinks-king extraordinaire, Liam Davy, has also revamped that side of things. This time there’s a Sour Cherry Negroni, which adds a hint of late summer cherries to the classic bitter-beautiful Italian aperitif, along with a bottle of Rosso Braida, an elegant Italian blend of Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, that matches perfectly with fillet steak.

All our boxes come with a link to our instructional cooking videos with our Executive Head Chef, Matt Brown, to help you along the way.

Please note ingredients should be consumed within 2 or 3 days of delivery date and are not suitable for home freezing.

The box serves two very hungry (and thirsty) people:

  • 2 x 300g British fillet steaks
  • Matt Brown’s Ultimate oven chips
  • Creamed spinach
  • Bone marrow & Maderia jus (for making Bone marrow gravy)
  • 1 Large Sticky toffee pudding with Clotted Cream to dollop on top
  • 2 x Hawksmoor Lagers
  • Sour Cherry Negroni for 2
  • Bottle of Rosso Braida

The allergens to be aware of are MILK and FISH (anchovies) in the Creamed Spinach; also MILK, EGGS and WHEAT in the Sticky Toffee Pudding, and SULPHITES in the Negroni.

Unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility for delivery arrangements made with our courier, DPD. These arrangements that are made with DPD can only be dealt with by contacting DPD from the tracking email you will receive.

We would advise you have a meat thermometer at home to help cook the perfect steak.
