Hosted by whisky specialist Sinead O’Hagan from Edrington-Beam Suntory & Hawksmoor in Guildhall’s beautiful private dining room, you’ll get an introduction to the world of Laphroaig – the cold-smoked whisky – brought to life through smoked food, drams and cocktails. On the menu for the evening…
You will be welcomed on arrival with a Haggis Nugget & Laphroaig Triple Wood Highball, a special cocktail created by both teams at Laphroaig and Hawksmoor Guildhall, followed by a 3 course meal that will be carefully matched with their whisky. To start with, you will enjoy Hawksmoor smoked salmon & soda bread paired with Laphroaig 10 Year’s Old, followed by a selection of 35 dry-aged cuts – sirloin, chateaubriand & bone-in prime rib; accompanied with a variety of sides and sauces, and paired with Laphroaig’s beautiful Lore whisky & to finish off a twist on Sticky Toffee Sundae with Laphroaig laced butterscotch sauce paired with Laphroaig Popcorn Old Fashioned.
