We had an excellent experience at your restaurant last Monday. All of the staff were so pleasant & helpful. The food was the usual excellent & delicious standard!! We would have no hesitation in recommending Hawksmoor Manchester. All Covid Safe practices were adhered to & we will visit again in the near future.

Our July Borough trip was so special. We thought you offered safe respite from the world as it is, like no other bar or restaurant. For example, we left after dinner and headed to a Tower Bridge bar – where we were greeted with QR codes and a spray gun of sanitiser. Thank you for not reopening in this way and working so hard behind the scenes to keep everybody as safe as possible without the overtness seen elsewhere.
That said – we can’t wait to be with you on our anniversary and wish you a happy first anniversary, too.
While this will be our last London trip – we will head to Manchester as soon as we arrive and unpack at the end of the month.

“It was a huge relief to go out and feel immediately comfortable and safe.”
I visited your restaurant on Saturday after a long time (way too long). I just had to send a short note on our experience which in one word can be summarised as normal. You may read this and think, normal? What?
But normal was an unexpected surprise for us after months in lockdown and something we (along with many others, I am sure) have been desperate to feel. Being big on socialising over food and drink and extremely big on socializing at Hawksmoor specifically, we knew your restaurant was the first place we’d be visiting as things slowly start to open up. We were very nervous about going out, let alone eating out given I am in the vulnerable category and we’re just so relieved and happy with our experience.
The food was at it’s normal exceptional level… oh how I’ve missed the potted beef! The service helpful, friendly and safe.
It was a huge relief to go out and feel immediately comfortable and safe. Our focus was on the fabulous food, wine and our friends – not worrying.

“…and was really impressed by the additional steps your team are taking.”
It was a pleasure, as always. I was a shielder who didn’t leave my house for nearly 5 months and the thought of a Hawksmoor roast was one of the things that kept me going! I’ve been quite jittery about social distancing and cleanliness and was really impressed by the additional steps your team are taking. Don’t get me wrong, your restaurant is always clean but it was very clear that you’re taking every possible precaution in these unusual times.
My only suggestion would be for your restaurants down south (where I live) can we have the sharer Sunday roasts back pretty please 🙂

“Still plenty of atmosphere.”
Excellent food and service as always. The Covid-19 secure environment was perfect. Tables far enough apart but still plenty of atmosphere. The host and waitress were exceptionally polite and attentive and of course it’s the best steak in London!

“In terms of the current COVID-19 situation I definitely felt at ease eating out”
I’d love to give a feedback as I understand how important it may be during these current times. I’d never been to a Hawksmoor restaurante before and my first experience I was pleased overall with the level of service from every aspect from the moment we were greeted and the moment left. Excellent service from all members of staff which added to the ambience of the evening. Despite a hiccup within the order this was dealt with professionally and discretely and had no overall impact on the evening. Staff were accommodating, attentive and the food was delicious and worth every penny. Would definitely visit again!
I have no feedback in terms of room for improvement which honestly is a testimonial to the organisational and all staff. In terms of the current COVID-19 situation I definitely felt at ease eating out (it was my second time in a restaurant) and the efforts were not unnoticed and seems Hawksmoor as a brand the team are doing brilliantly in restoring confidence back into the hospitality and catering business.
Thank you to all your staff, I look forward to visiting again soon.
