Things move so fast now – your phone’s doing the shopping, AI’s writing the cards – and it can all feel a bit much. So we’re putting the sleigh brakes on and inviting you to slow down and reminisce for a bit at our place.

As we edge towards our 20th year, we’ve been thinking about what makes Hawksmoor, Hawksmoor. Maybe it’s that sense of home, warmth and proper cooking – like Christmas at your nan’s, if your nan had a charcoal grill and a killer martini list.

We don’t do Christmas with a side of stress. No sprawling set menus or forced turkey traditions. Just the same Hawksmoor you know and (hopefully) love: simple food, cooked properly, served by brilliant people.

Add a few wreaths, some festive cocktails, a mince pie or two, and you’ve got the kind of Christmas that feels a bit more… analogue again.

Christmas Private Dining & Festive Gatherings

Festive bookings are now open for family dinners, office parties or cocktail receptions. We have elegant, low-lit private dining rooms and semi-private spaces across our restaurants in London, Manchester, Liverpool and Edinburgh for 10 to 250 people.

We know that pinning down the ‘perfect place’ can be tricky, so we try our best to keep things simple. That means group-friendly sharing menus, a team who know how to put you at ease, and a yesteryear atmosphere that makes the whole feel as cosy as home.

Christmas parties at Hawksmoor are tasteful, stress-free events that make you, the organiser, look good. Sound appealing?

For party venues in London, we often suggest our bar at Hawksmoor Wood Wharf – our biggest, with space for 250 standing guests in winter and 330 in summer, when you can spill onto the waterside terrace. Also, check out Spitalfields Bar, beneath our first-ever restaurant on Commercial Street, where 70 of you can let loose in a space with a speakeasy feel.

FIND YOUR HAWKSMOOR THIS CHRISTMAS

Our festive bookings are now open and, chances are, we’ve got just the right venue for your event. An elegant sweep of private dining rooms in London, Manchester, Liverpool, and Edinburgh can accommodate from 13 to 55 seated guests. They’re lovely, low-lit spaces where friendly, knowledgeable staff make things run smoothly.

We love standing cocktail-and-canapé events too, with spaces for up to 250 people in either a semi-private or private setting. If you’re going ‘big big’, let’s talk about exclusive-use bookings, where the whole venue and our superb team are yours for the afternoon or evening. Either way, we’ll make sure your Christmas party is a memorable one.
