AIR STREET
Our steak restaurant in Piccadilly circus, london
5a Air Street, London W1J 0AD
Up in a sweeping Art Deco space overlooking Regent Street, Hawksmoor Air Street is where our seafood story began. Today, the menu is equally weighted between the very best steak and sustainable seafood, with our award-winning roasts taking centre stage on Sundays.
The restaurant’s design makes the most of its high ceilings, while ten specially commissioned floor-to-ceiling stained-glass windows fill the room with light and offer great views of the bustle below.
Our steak and seafood restaurant is near Piccadilly Circus, just off Regent Street, and a short walk from the West End and Soho.

Longhorn is Back at Hawksmoor
Longhorn beef holds a special place in our story. It is the rare native breed that helped shape Hawksmoor nearly twenty years ago. Slow-grown cattle raised properly producing beautifully rich beef with remarkable depth of flavour.
You will now find Longhorn on the menu as our Longhorn Feast. Generous sharing cuts of dry-aged beef cooked over live charcoal and served with roasted bone marrow and slow-cooked onions.
Longhorn is a rare breed so the amount we receive each day is small. Once those steaks are gone they are gone.

Sunday Roast, Upgraded
You asked for new cuts on the Sunday Roast. We happily obliged. Swap your rump for a thick, slow-roasted sirloin, cooked low and slow, rested properly, and carved to sit proudly alongside the trimmings you know and love.
And we heard the call for proper veggie options, not the polite alternative, the real deal. Sundays are now complete with our Winslade Wellington roast, wrapped in golden pastry and served with roast potatoes (without beef dripping, of course), seasonal veg, slow-roasted garlic, light and fluffy yorkies and onion gravy.
New Summer Desserts
available now
Summer calls for puddings with a little more sunshine in them, and Chef Carla has delivered: a strawberry tart with prosecco sauce and strawberry sorbet; spiced pineapple and mango pavlova with a tequila kick; blueberry and basil whipped cheesecake with lemon granita; and, because we only turn 20 once, our Birthday Cake — an indulgent celebration of Cru Virunga chocolate, hazelnut ganache, hazelnut cream and ice cream, inspired by the much-loved Grand Rocher.
Four new summer desserts. One very good reason to leave room.

Our Set Menu’s back for spring

Hawksmoor Experiences
new in our gift shop!
Some people don’t need more “things.” They need a good time — the sort that starts with a killer Martini, ends with a sticky toffee pudding, and has a perfectly cooked steak somewhere in the middle. Hawksmoor Experiences make gifting wonderfully easy: a way to give someone you love a night (or day) they’ll actually remember.
For birthdays, anniversaries, “thank yous”, “sorrys”, “cheer ups” and “just because it’s Christmas”, Hawksmoor Experiences deliver brilliant food, lovely people, and a very good time. The kind of gift you’ll secretly wish someone gave you.
Sunday Roasts in Soho
Available from 12-5PM every Sunday
Sunday roasts are a Hawksmoor staple at our Piccadilly restaurant and have twice been voted the Best Sunday Lunch in the UK. A whole rump of dry-aged beef is cooked super slow, first on real charcoal and then in the oven. Groups can also choose to feast on a range of handsome sharing steaks.
It’s then served with our much-loved trimmings: beef-dripping roast potatoes, buttered greens, carrots and a gigantic Yorkshire pudding – all ready to be doused in our bone-marrow gravy. It’s a proper treat for those keen on something more substantial than Sunday brunch.
BYO Monday Wine Club
every monday, all day – £5 corkage
Have you heard of our Monday Wine Club? It’s a simple concept: bring any wine you like – doesn’t matter if it’s a first-growth Bordeaux or a bottle of Barefoot – and we’ll only charge you £5 corkage. That’s any size bottle, any time of day. For maximum value bring a Nebuchadnezzar of Nebbiolo and a Balthazar of Bastardo.

Rare Breeds at Hawksmoor
We’ve partnered with the Rare Breeds Survival Trust (RBST) to launch a UK-first programme championing rare and native breed farmers and the incredible beef they produce.
By investing in these breeds, we’re helping to protect them. Supporting the farmers, the countryside, and a way of farming we’re deeply proud to stand behind.
Look out for our rare and native breed steaks on our blackboards – every weekend in all Hawksmoor restaurants.
What makes our food so good?
Our menus revolve around the very best ingredients we can find. That means beef from native-breed grass-fed cows, along with sustainably sourced seafood from Britain’s bountiful waters. Meanwhile, seasonal fruits, veggies and great British cheeses all come from suppliers who share our care for people and planet.
Air Street will always be our most seafood-focused restaurant. Back in 2012, we teamed up with brilliant chef Mitch Tonks – owner of the Seahorse in Dartmouth – to mastermind our seafood offering. He’s the reason we still receive the freshest, most sustainable catch, straight from Brixham fish market in Devon.
