The New Yorker Room

Hawksmoor Liverpool’s private dining room – The New Yorker Room – seats up to 18 people around one large table, and is situated just off the main entrance. It celebrates links between Liverpool and New York, including one of the building’s architects, Herbert Rowse, amongst other famous Liverpudlians who crossed the pond and made New York their home.

The menus in The New Yorker Room are specially designed sharing menus, that showcase a range of classic Hawksmoor dishes as well as our famed dictionary-thick steaks. Everything is served family-style, with steaks cooked to order and served in cast-iron skillets alongside their legendary sides and sauces. For dessert, large sharing puddings complete the feast.

All menus can be paired with matched wines selected by our expert wine team. You can even go the extra mile and create a bespoke cocktail for your event.

We will happily cater for any vegetarians, vegans and any other dietary requirements that your party may have. Just let us know in advance.

Hawksmoor Liverpool, located in the iconic and beautiful, Grade II-listed India Buildings, is just an olive’s throw from Castle St, on the corner of Brunswick Street and Fenwick Street.

Hawksmoor Liverpool is perfect for larger private events, with options to hire the entire restaurant for up to 140 guests or enjoy a semi-private set-up for groups of 70. The bar area sets the tone with arrival drinks and serves as the perfect spot for post-dinner cocktails.
