It’s our 10th birthday!

Thank you, Manchester.

“It’s been 10 years since we nervously stepped into this incredible former Victorian courthouse on Deansgate, wondering if Hawksmoor could find a home in Manchester.

There’s no greater praise for Hawksmoor than to say that Mancunians treat it as theirs.  Aside from trying to create a world class steak restaurant, our biggest goal was to open something authentically Manchester.

For us, Hawksmoor Manchester has always been special. We see the same families gathering for Sunday lunch every week; we’ve been the place people have gone in their best (and sometimes their lowest) moments.

To you, to our wonderful team and to this very special city, thank you for making us part of Manchester. It means a lot.”

So, how are we celebrating?

For the month of March, your favourite dishes of the last ten years are coming back to our menu. The famous Beefsteak Pudding is already out – which Mancs ate more of than any other restaurant … by a distance. Short-rib macaroni is also making a return. And the Ambassador’s Reception, too. There’s more, but watch this space.

Then we’ll be shining a light on the local charities we’re so proud to support, like Eat Well MCR and Wood St Mission (who help children and families living on a low income).

And finally, we’re planning on sharing some of our favourite stories from the last decade (which, OF COURSE, will include the famous wine bottle incident). There’ll be interviews with local legends, behind-the-scenes moments and a few other fun bits.

Come celebrate with us. After all, you’re the reason we’re still here.
