Ours is a Grade A-listed, neoclassical gem with soaring ceilings, parquet floors and gorgeous etched-glass windows, perfectly positioned in Edinburgh’s prestigious St Andrew Square in the heart of the New Town. Timeless stuff for a wow wedding reception in Edinburgh. We have two private dining rooms – The McLellan Room & Tellers’ Room, seating 13 and 48 respectively. Or you can have the run of the place for up to 160 guests. Details below.
The McLellan Room
The space for your laid-back, low-key wedding reception. Picture 13 seats around one circular table for that intimate, almost private-members-club vibe. Double-height doors spill straight onto the main restaurant floor, so you’ll get a little background buzz, too.
The Tellers’ Room
Something a little grander? Here we have high limestone walls, wood-panelling and comfy leather banquettes for up to 48-seated or 60-standing guests. The Tellers Room is your spot for lively family-style dinners and cocktail-fuelled speeches.
Exclusive hire
Far too many cousins to invite? You can always hire Hawksmoor Edinburgh exclusively for up to 160-seated guests. In fact, they’re our favourite events! Take over the bar and restaurant for the sort of multi-stage wedding reception you see in the movies.

Our wedding breakfasts take your favourite Hawksmoor classics and pop them into a selection of sharing menus to suit your budget. Easy to organise; really special on the table.
