Housed in a floating pavilion – the venue takes inspiration from our first Cross-Atlantic launch in New York City mixed with the Golden Age of Travel: so you get the glamour of a Hawksmoor in Manhattan, with a little high-end ocean liner vibe.

Conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from Canary Wharf station, the two-storey eco-friendly building is our largest venue in London. There’s easy access from Excel London, Liverpool Street Station, and many other hubs in the city’s east end.

From our Private Dining Room which seats up to 21 guests, to a full hire of our Hawksmoor Bar at Wood Wharf that hosts up to 250 standing in the winter or 330 standing in the summer, we have a room for every reason.

The Queenie Watts

An ode to local legend Queenie Watts who, in the early sixties welcomed rowdy dockers, gangsters, celebrities and thrill-seeking high society members to her nearby pub. “I just love people. People are life, aren’t they?” Queenie once famously said, and we keep her spirit of hospitality alive. The room is perfect for intimate events, boardroom meetings, and focused service.

Catering from 12 to 21 guests, and with included AV, this is the perfect spot for focused meetings and intimate gatherings.

The Restaurant

The main dining room at Hawksmoor Wood Wharf gives you an elevated view of Canary Wharf. With floor to ceiling windows, the space receives ample natural lighting during the day, and the sparkle of skyscrapers at night, all reflected across the surrounding waters.

Available for semi-private or exclusive hire, the restaurant serves everything you love about Hawksmoor, the food, the drinks, the service, and the atmosphere.

For larger occasions, you can hire the entire floor. The space accommodates up to 250 standing and up to 330 during the summer as that includes your very own terrace.

Terrace

Our terrace at Wood Wharf sits right on the water, on a floating pavilion that rises and falls with the tide, which makes it about as close to the dock as you can get without ending up in it. It’s built for the kind of party that wants to spill outdoors: drinks in the open air, water on three sides, and Canary Wharf carrying on with its day behind you. Standing receptions work especially well out here, and capacity lifts noticeably in the warmer months once the terrace comes into play.
