Thanksgiving dinner in Boston
Thursday, November 26. Open 11:45am to 8pm, Fort Point.
A room over the water with the light going early, beef cooked over charcoal and live fire, and sides landing in the middle of the table because that is the only sensible way to eat them. Nobody peels anything, nobody stands over a timer, nobody is still in the kitchen at ten. You arrive, you sit down, and the rest is ours.
The Ultimate Sharing Roast, on a Thursday. It is a Sunday dish, and this is the only Thursday it runs. Our Sunday roast has twice been voted the best in the UK by The Observer. and this is that with the volume turned to 11: a generous board for the center of the table, roast rib of beef cooked over open fire and carved thick, crisp beef-dripping potatoes, giant Yorkshire puddings, buttered greens, cauliflower cheese, proper bone marrow gravy and horseradish with real bite.
The full à la carte runs alongside it, so a dry-aged steak by the window is a perfectly good Thanksgiving too. No turkey, which we accept is quite a position to take on this of all days. And if you miss it, it is back on Sunday.
If Thanksgiving Day is already spoken for, Hawksmoor makes a great option for Friendsgiving. If on a Sunday, Roast is the call. Any other day, our sharing steaks and generous sides are a unique spin on a Thanksgiving feast. If your Friendsgiving has grown past a normal table – extended friends, plus-ones, the whole group chat – our private dining rooms mean nobody gets left off the invite. The best part? No cleaning up after the big meal. Well, really the best part is sharing incredible food with the ones you love most.
