Generous, by Design
What's on the menu?
Think of it as a collision of traditions: British beefsteak revelry, South American steakhouse mastery, and a room full of Chicagoans ready to get their hands a little messy in the pursuit of really good meat.
Family-style platters of will arrive at the table in generous waves (if you’re expecting silverware, you’re in the wrong place). Bread stacked high. Beer flowing freely. And somewhere along the way you’ll realize you’ve stopped worrying about table manners entirely.
Passed starters include steak tartare, hashbrowns with malt vinegar mayo, gougères with rarebit, Oysters Caruso with giardiniera vinaigrette, morcilla and chorizo served on the parrillada.
For mains, all natural Black Angus & Wagyu beefsteaks, whole charcoal-roasted baby lamb – with sourdough bread, bone marrow gravy, and both verde and criolla salsas.
Sides include puffed beef tendon, Caesar salad, Boston salad, delta asparagus, and beef dripping chips.
And if you have room for dessert, which we hope you will after all that, beef dripping doughnuts with maple bacon and custard close out the evening.
Guests can enjoy beer from Off Color Brewing and a cocktail starring Fernet-Branca, alongside non-alcoholic beverages and a wine selection featuring Susana Balbo Malbec and Pazo das Bruzas Albarino.
